ARTICLE XIV – MISCELLANEOUS
Section 14.1. Fiscal Year.
The fiscal year of the Corporation shall begin on January 1 of each year and shall end on December 31 of each year.
Section 14.2. Notice.
Any notice required or permitted under the Articles or These Bylaws may be given exclusively by written communication delivered in person, by first class or certified mail, by a nationally recognized overnight delivery service (e.g. FedEx or UPS). Without limiting the foregoing and for purposes of clarification only, oral notice, notice by electronic means, notice by publication in a newspaper, by radio, television or other form of public broadcast communication shall not constitute notice for purposes of These Bylaws. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if any person agrees, by prior, express, written consent, to receive notice by any reasonable method of communication (including e-mail, telephone, or communication via amateur radio), notice given to such person by such method shall thereafter constitute notice for purposes of These Bylaws (provided that no such consent shall obligate the Corporation to give notice by such method). Notice shall be deemed given as follows:
(a) If delivered by mail, upon deposit in the U.S. mail addressed to the address of the recipient on the books of the Corporation,
(b) If delivered by any other method, upon delivery to the address of the recipient on the books of the Corporation.
